Schwinn Airdyne – Tips For Exercise Bike Fitness

Look, I’ve ridden the same Schwinn Airdyne bike for years. This is one rugged bike. If there is a classic exercise machine, this must be it. Exercise gadget fads come and go, the Airdyne just keeps going. And, the bad news is, you actually have to ride the thing to get the benefit. Yikes! Here’s how to get going the right way…
Tip 1: What ya gonna do?
Goals. About 3 percent of adults have written goals. They’re the ones who get things done… What do you want to accomplish? A specific weight loss amount? What is it? Write it down… please. Then get going…
Tip 2: Today?
Why not start now? See, your exercise bike is just waiting for you to get going. Any time night or day, hot or cold, right or wrong is just the time to start. All you have to do is just get on and start. No fancy additional equipment required. No more courses. Nothing…
Tip 3: Twenty minutes…
is a great workout length. Any time will help, but there are several reasons why pedaling for twenty minutes is a great plan. If that’s too long, can you set twenty minutes as a goal???
Tip 4: Intervals…
is a fancy way to describe changing the pace a bit. That means push it hard for a little while, then back off for a bit, then repeat. This is easy to accomplish with a programmable bike, but requires a little thought with our Airdyne. Here’s what I do. I push hard until I still can breathe in through my nose, but I want to breathe out through my mouth. So, I’m pushing hard, but I’m not out of breath. Back off until breathing is easier, then repeat.
Tip 5: Don’t stop…
That means do it again tomorrow and the next day too. It’s OK to take breaks, just don’t stop. Regular workout sessions are the key to long-term success. It isn’t how hard you ride or even how long. It’s whether you keep at it.
My Schwinn Airdyne can take lots of abuse. It’s a rugged machine that helps you get a great workout. It only works when I do though. That’s the trick. Get on the thing and ride…

Tomatoes and the Candida Diet

Tomatoes, once thought to be poisonous and grown only for decorative purposes, are today one of the world’s leading vegetable crops. Tomatoes have always been a part of my diet as I am huge fan of marinara sauce and salsa. Fortunately, tomatoes are permitted on the candida diet which I currently follow. The candida diet also known the anti-candida or yeast free diet is the cornerstone of treatment for a medical condition known as candidiasis. Candidiasis is an overgrowth of yeast in the body which causes a wide variety of seemingly unrelated health problems. Research suggests that a variety of foods and ingredients can exacerbate this condition. The candida diet seeks to eliminate or greatly reduce the intake of such foods. Tomatoes seem to be pretty well tolerated by most candidiasis sufferers. I believe the use of tomatoes allow you to create a variety of tasty meals which is extremely helpful on a diet that restricts so many foods. Tomatoes are delicious both raw and cooked which is...

Diet Therapy – Objectives and Treatment

Diet is called one of the most effective methods for treating any patient and even for any healthy person. A variety of alternative diets are offered for treating cancer, cardiovascular disease, and food allergies. Basically most of the diets focus on eating fresher and freshly prepared vegetables, fruits, whole grains and legumes. Allergy to food has become a major area of research. Diet has been strongly implicated in many forms of arthritis. Food can cause arthritis and it can also help in the cure. Many of these special diets originated from the observation that RA is not found in societies that eat a more ‘primitive’ diet. Computer Home therapy has made the PC into an excellent tool for therapy. This diet therapy program uses light and sound which means visual stimulation through the use of pictures, colors, and live imagery. These techniques have been researched over the past ten years in Israel. Objective of diet therapy To adjust the diet to the body’s ability to use certain fo...
